I want to make sure I understand this right Mr. Mayor. According to you at the 9-8-2015 council meeting you said that to be a good administer of the money in the CSO fund that it should be “invested.” It shouldn’t sit in an account and do nothing that is according to what you said this was business101. So just so I understand this right. The general fund of the City of Dearborn Heights borrowed money from the CSO fund collected from the taxpayers of the City on our tax bills. Then the general fund of the City of Dearborn Heights paid back the CSO fund with interest. That money paid back to the fund with interest was again Taxpayer money. So that would mean that the taxpayers paid for their own investment. I’m sorry I’m not a CPA, but you are saying that by the general fund borrowing the money from the CSO you Mr. Mayor (invested) that money and made a profit? So the taxpayer paid for the profit how is that an investment?
